Dr. Alexandros G. Psychogios is a Senior Lecturer on OB and HRM at Hull University Business School. He is also a Research Visitor in South Eastern European Research Centre (SEERC) and Associate Researcher in GNOSIS Research Group of the Management School at the University of Liverpool.

The aims of this module are two-fold: to enable the students to develop their understanding of the nature and key elements of HRM; the second is to appreciate and evaluate the contribution of HRM to organisational effectiveness.

In achieving these objectives there will be the opportunity for students to engage with the principles of ‘best practice’ and more importantly critically evaluate the organisational and individual barriers to this wherever possible drawing on their own organisational experience.
