He will present two separate programmes in Bahrain. A four day course will concentrate on solution focused leadership and business development while a one day programme will concentrate on coaching skills for managers and leaders.

Coaching is fast becoming one of the most important developmental performance processes available to business today and is relevant across all sectors of business.

Prof. Garvey has an impressive record of research, teaching and consultancy in a range of different national and international organisations and is in demand as a lively and sometimes controversial keynote speaker.  He is widely published particularly in the area of coaching and mentoring and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Participants in both programmes will discover and hands on experience of the core elements covering; Motivational and morale, Business Performance, Policy Implementation, Knowledge and Skills Development, Change Management, Leadership and Succession Planning

His programmes are being organised by Management Development Centre International, which has so far helped more than three thousand professionals, from across the Gulf Region, to complete their postgraduate studies.

MDCI Managing Director Rob Rice says: “We are delighted to host Professor Bob Garvey and these exciting programmes.

“It is the first time it has been offered in the GCC and we believe it will add to Bahrain’s reputation as a regional centre of coaching and leadership development.”
